EN13201-2-2015 performance requirements

The standard defines the classes of street lighting installations based on the photometric requirements. EN 13201-2-2015 is geared towards the visual needs of road users and also takes into account the environmental aspects of street lighting. The standard addresses the important areas for different lighting situations, conflict zones, traffic precautions, and pedestrian crossings. It also contains information on anti-glare protection, color rendering, night use, and visual orientation.

Motorized transport class M

Classes for roads with predominantly motorized traffic. The photometric quantity considered is the mean horizontal luminance
